Potential Tin Hao Dimsum franchisees undergo training to successfully own and run their business. Accepted franchisees are required to undergo the Tin Hao Dimsum Franchise Training Module. This module aims to encompass the learning outcomes needed to make the Tin Hao Dimsum business functional in a streamlined and cost effective manner.

Franchisee training includes:
• Product knowledge and handling.
• Team training and customer service.
• Marketing and promotions.
• Purchasing and inventory control,
• Effective management practices.
• Store staff development.

The Tin Hao Dimsum Training Module takes place in a store environment, at designated branches. It is usually conducted one week prior to the opening of the Franchised branch, following a new franchisee orientation. During this time potential franchisees acquire the necessary competencies required to operate a Tin Hao Dimsum outlet. In addition to this, they attend off-site additional training on an ongoing basis when the need arises.
